5 July: We welcome Revd Jeff Crittenden. Jeff has preached for us regularly in recent years and we’re delighted that he has made the time to visit us once again during his trip to the UK from Canada. This is also his first visit to us since he and his now wife Katherine, were married in December.
12 July: This month we have moved our Zoom service (see 19 July below) as our minister, Revd Clare Nutbrown-Hughes, will be leading worship in the sanctuary.
19 July: Zoom Service – This month we will be joining Revd Simon Walkling in Christwell for our monthly Zoom service. A reminder that the link, if you’re joining from home is

Other Church Events
Language classes are held on Monday mornings at 10am in the Hall.
Monday 29 June – 7pm AGM in the church.
Friday 10 July – 7pm – Please remember that Ny Ako, the group from Madagascar will perform at St. David’s Uniting, Treforest. A warm welcome awaits everyone to enjoy this wonderful performance where Malagasy crafts will be on sale.
On Saturday 11 July, a group of elders and members of the Justice and Peace group, will gather for a Vision Day, spending time in prayer and reflection and discussion as we take stock of where St David’s Uniting Church is now and where God might be calling us.
To help us make the most of the opportunity we’d love to hear your honest thoughts about the life, culture and future direction of the church:
- What would you like to see more of?
- What should we keep doing?
- Is there something which you feel we should explore now we are more settled in our new home?
Please do contact your elder or myself with any thoughts or questions. Thank you, Clare.
