Diolch ENFAWR, a BIG thank you to everyone who has sent a card, a gift or wished Anna Meinir, Ianto and myself well since January. Thank you all too for your support. Sorry it’s taken so long to get a message in the news sheet! Anna is very lucky to have such a supportive Church family.

After a few difficult years our lovely friend Anne Hill has left us. She passed away on Saturday 18 April in Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
As a child Anne went to chapel in Cilfynydd. She then became an active member of Saint David’s Presbyterian Church on Gelliwastad Road where she was secretary for many years. When Saint David’s Presbyterian church and Pontypridd United church merged, Anne was from the start a full, active and very supportive member of our new community of faith. Anne had a strong faith that she was happy to share.One could not meet a kinder, more genuine and loyal friend.
We have missed her in worship of late as life became increasingly difficult. At this time of loss we especially think of Graham and of Lesley. We hold them both in our prayers.
Anne’s funeral will be held on Wednesday 13 May. Further details will be announced when they are known.

Guild – just a reminder that there are no Guild meetings now until the Autumn session which starts in October. Full details will follow in September’s Newsletter.

I hope you have all enjoyed the rather pleasant spring weather we have experienced during April, albeit I’m sure some gardens are feeling a bit dry and looking forward to a bit of rain.
The June edition of the Newsletter will be sent on Saturday 30 May. Please ensure any items reach me at the latest by Monday 25 May.
It’s really good to have lots of pastoral updates and a variety of interesting articles and news, so please keeping sending these as well as full details of forthcoming events etc. Please send items directly to me either by email to [email protected] or by phone.
