2nd July 2023

We welcome everyone who joins us for worship today, especially if you are a visitor or worshipping with us for the first time

We give a special welcome to Rev Peter Noble, who is no stranger to us. Peter was Moderator of URC Wales Synod, until he handed over to Rev Simon Walkling in 2012, since then he has served as Chaplain of Cardiff Bay Local Ecumenical Partnership, and as Minister at Llanfair Uniting Church, Penrhys. He is now enjoying being ‘retired’!

Fair-trade tea and coffee will be served after this morning’s service, we invite you to enjoy a ‘cuppa and a chat’ in the company of friends. Hand- made greetings cards will also be on sale.

Church Family and Pastoral News

We include this in the newsletter to inform our prayers during the week.

  • We had the wrong date for Linda’s operation, it was due to take place on 29th , we hope all went well.
  • We think of Claire in her concern for her sister-in-law in Exmouth who is not very well.
  • We pray for Maralyn’s Uncle George (he will be 99 this year) who is not well but is being well cared for by the staff in the residential home where he lives.
  • Some of our ‘older’ members are struggling with poor health we keep them in our thoughts.
  • We have no further news on Renda’s family, but with the situation as it is we still continue to hold them in our prayers.
  • Those who are concerned for the health of family members.
