Church Life

St David’s Guild  – From October to Easter, St David’s Guild meets from 2pm – 3:30pm at the church on Wednesday afternoons and is attracting more to their group, including many non church members. All are welcome.

Fair Trade – We are a Fair Trade church and serve Traidcraft tea and coffee after our services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.

A Peace and Justice group meets regularly to keep abreast of issues including asylum seekers, refugees, climate change, Palestine and Time banking. It fosters links with external partners where relevant, keeps the church informed by providing occasional input to worship, publicity in the news sheet, church blog and website, or arranging special events. It encourages individuals to campaign on occasions for example writing cards to political prisoners through Amnesty International.

Discovery and Lent Groups have informal meals and meetings in members’ homes for further exploration of Christian themes.

Cantorion Gelliwastad singing group practices weekly and often takes part in worship.

Language Classes  We welcome a group of refugees for English language classes every Monday from 10am – 12pm.

Park Ramblers The Park Ramblers meet on Mondays at 10:15 outside the Nat West Bank in Taff St for a stroll around Ynysangharad Park. Anyone can join in whatever your age or ability or just join us for coffee.
