29th June 2025

We welcome everyone who joins us for worship today, either on line or in person, especially if you are a visitor or worshipping with us for the first time.

Revd. Peter Noble is leading our worship today, Peter is well known to us, apart from being a former Moderator of URC Wales Synod he is also a former Minister of Van Road URC, Caerphilly which is one of the churches in the Valleys Pastorate which we will be a part of from August 30th.

We pray that we may all know the joy of worship in God’s presence, and experience the challenge of his word to us as Peter leads us.

Tea and coffee will be served in the hall following the service, and handmade cards will be on sale. Please join us for this time of informal fellowship.

Pastoral Matters

We only include names when permission has been given.

  • We continue hold the family, and especially the friends, of Gwenllian in our thoughts as they wait to say their final goodbye. Gwenllian’s funeral will be held on Thursday July 24th30am at Coychurch Crematorium.
  • An increasing number of our fellowship are no longer able to worship with us in person, and not many of them have access to the internet so are unable to watch the service on YouTube. We keep them in our thoughts.
  • There are still two people in hospital who are hoping to be discharged to their homes soon. As we know these arrangements take time!
  • When contacted by phone recently Cyril said how grateful he was to receive phone calls from people that he knows and he is pleased to keep up to date with news of the church. He is keeping well and was delighted to be taken to see his latest Great Granddaughter recently.
  • We remember those who ‘work’ every Sunday: the organists/pianists, the readers, those who control the Live streaming, those who give a welcome at the door, and coffee makers, Secretary, Finance Team, Pulpit supplies, Justice and Peace, Communications team.
