We welcome everyone who joins us for worship today, whether you are in the comfort of your home, with us in the church or watching later on YouTube.
Zoomers can join in the pre-service chat from 10.30 by following the link.
Our ZOOM service will be led by one of our most welcome regulars, Revd. Ray Vincent. The theme of the service is “Who is my neighbour now?
We are very grateful to Ray for his continuing willingness to lead our services and we pray for us all a time of rich blessing, but also of challenge, as he leads us.
If you will be in the church, we invite you to join us in the hall following the service, when tea and coffee will be served and handmade cards will be on sale.

Every month we receive emails from our three parent denominations:
This month the PCW email includes this YouTube link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X04TL-8wsh0 featuring two people who many will know. Glynis Owen and Rev Wayne Adams.
An Interview with Glynis Owen. Moderator of The Presbyterian Church of Wales 2025-2027.
Her welcome service was held in Llandudno last Monday. It is a very interesting interview.
The Presbyterian Church in Wales is divided into three Provinces; The East, The South and The North. We are part of The East province which Glynis and Wayne are both prominent members of.
Our Traditions ~ Justice and Peace Group
This was started before we became St David’s Uniting in 2002. The aim was to broaden our horizons and fulfil our aims!
Particular concerns at the time were for Israel and Palestine, over 25 years on they still are.
Local MP’s have visited us to answer questions about the incarceration of the children of Refugees and Britain’s Nuclear Arms programme.
Black History Month has been a focus as have themes of justice and inclusion when we hosted a couple of film shows (Pride and B for Boy). Climate Change and Global Warming is still a concern.
In 2015 we were invited to get involved in planning for Rhondda Cynon Taff to receive Syrian refugees during the international crisis. The first families arrived in May 2016 and the Language classes, which are still ongoing, were started.
Through the group we are encouraged to support:
- Prisoners of Conscience by sending Cards at Christmas.
- DPIA, the organisation that provides opportunities and advice for refugees, the money which has been given by personal direct debits is known by DPIA as St David’s Uniting Church Education & Wellbeing Fund
If you want to know more speak to Viviane, Catherine or Pam who are very involved and are delighted to welcome Emily to the group. New members are always welcome.
A Flower Festival
