We welcome you all to our service today, especially if you are a visitor or worshiping with us for the first time.
Our service this morning, which is being led by Phil, is an ‘all age’ service and will include the celebration of the Lord’s supper
For our film and chat afternoon today, we’ll be dipping our toes into the psychological thriller genre as we watch a drama about a community wrestling with the monsters within and without! Certificate 12.
Fairtrade coffee and tea will be served after this morning’s service and all are welcome to join in this time of informal fellowship. Handmade cards will also be available.
The Copper Pot is, as usual, on the table; so, don’t take your ‘small change’ home with you, put it in the pot, where it will be used for local charities.

Church Family and Pastoral News
We include this in the news sheet to inform our prayers.
- We remember those of our fellowship who are unable to remember us, and we pray for their well-being.
- There are several people who are unable to worship with us because of illness or family responsibilities. A phone call or visit would let them know they are not forgotten!
- Those who are travelling to see family
- Those who are sharing their ministry elsewhere: Ray at Castle Square this morning
Thanks. “Janet has been so appreciative of the support and love she’s received from her St David’s Uniting friends since the death of Clifford.”

Notices
This is part of a thank you letter we have received from the URC Finance Committee.
‘Thank you’ to each and every one of you for all that you do for the Church and, especially, for your help in raising over £19 million in 2018 for the URC Ministry and Mission Fund. For Christians, any giving of ours is in response to the amazing generosity of God in pouring out his love through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus and through his risen life in the world and the church today, through the Holy Spirit. Nevertheless, it is important to say ‘thank you’.
The complete letter is on the notice board.

Thought for the Week
It takes a range of plants to create a masterpiece in the garden,
different sizes, different colours all contributing to the whole.
This is true of the church.
