We welcome everyone who joins us for worship today, as we, with people all over the country remember those who have died in two world wars, and in many other conflicts around the world. We pray that with Phil leading us, we may all know the joy of worship in God’s presence, and experience the challenge of his word to us. We invite you to join us for refreshments after the morning service, when Hand-made Christmas cards will also be on sale. The Copper pot is on the table at the back of the church waiting for your ‘small’ change, which will benefit local charities.

A Message from our Minister
New relationships bring forth shared joys, fresh visions and unexpected treasures. They also encounter a few teething problems as the new parties discover the patterns and perspectives of the other. The new sharing arrangement between St David’s and Castle Square is no different, though it is hoped that such encounters will be met with grace and Christian love. With this in mind, through no fault of any individual, a misunderstanding has meant that I will be leading morning worship at Castle Square on November 30th as well as December 7th, whilst leading evening worship at St David’s on both these dates as usual. The Justice and Peace group will be leading the Amnesty service on November 30th whilst Iestyn will still lead the gift service on December 7th so worship will be in very safe hands! In the meantime, the two churches have the opportunity to come together through the medium of film as all are invited to the next cinema trip, to see ‘The Imitation Game’ which tells the story of Alan Turing and the breaking of the Enigma Code, at Nantgarw on the evening of November 20th.
Ministers Diary – Phil will be at a new Minister Conference in London from Tuesday till Thursday. The Elders are here to help at this time.
