28th October 2018
We give a warm welcome to all who have come to share worship with us today as we gather to say farewell to Dan, Sharon, Asher and Hannah who have come to the end of their 8-week pulpit exchange and will be leaving the cold weather behind them.
As Dan leads his last service with us before returning to New Zealand tomorrow we pray for us all a time of rich blessing and new challenges.
Our friends from Castle Square will be joining us for the Bring and Share Buffet Lunch which will be served in the hall from 12.30pm as we gather to say farewell to the Spragg’s and give them a good Welsh send off.
A large selection of handmade greetings cards will be on sale after the service, do take a look, there are cards for all occasions!
There will be NO evening service.

This Week and in the Future……
A musical afternoon is planned for Ladies Guild this week as Gail Stewart and friends will entertain us with a variety of songs. We will meet in the Church at 2pm
Today is the last chance to sign-up for the matinee performance of ‘The Messiah’ at the New Theatre on Saturday 3rd November. Tickets are ££23, £29 or £32. The show promises to be the funniest and most magical Nativity you will ever see.
It is a story about a travelling theatre troupe of two actors and an opera singer arrive by camel in the ancient town of Cardiff to masterfully enact the greatest story ever told. This Christmas comedy conjures up the sublime, the ridiculous and the truly angelic.
The National Dance Company Wales (NDCWales) will present ‘Roots’ at The Muni on Thursday 8th November at 7.30pm..
Roots is an evening consisting of 3 pieces of dance. The pieces are all contemporary dance but very different styles from funny and charter driven, to powerful and purely dynamic. £12.00 Adult, £9 concession, £8 group bookings. This is an opportunity to see Aisha Namaani dancing!!
A date for 2019! A Church Weekend has been booked at Coleg Trefeca, Talgarth February 22nd to 24th 2019. The cost for the full weekend is £110 per person, for Saturday only with lunch it is £36, or with lunch and supper £45. Please put your name on the sign-up sheet if you are interested.
