Pray and Fast for the climate
Starting on 1 November 2014, a new initiative is calling Christians to begin a regular pattern of fasting and praying for climate justice, on the first day of every month. Concerns are growing that global efforts to reduce carbon emissions have not yet succeeded in implementing a realistic, binding target. In response, a network of agencies and Christian churches have come together to create the ‘pray and fast for the climate’ campaign which it is hoped will spread in the run up to the crucial Paris climate summit in December 2015.
Harvest Festival
