Welcome everyone! If this is your first visit, we invite you to join us for tea or coffee following the morning service for a time of informal fellowship.
Our service this morning is being led by Dan and will include the celebration of the Lord’s Supper. All are invited to share in the bread and wine.
The Copper pot is on the table at the back of the church, if you have any small change, please, put it in the pot and it will eventually be given to a local charity, and the Food Bank ‘shopping lists’ are also on the table, please take one and get an item to put in the box.
This afternoon at 4pm we meet for our monthly Film and chat which is a critically acclaimed New Zealand Film about a young Maori girl and her fight to fulfil a destiny her grandfather refuses to recognize.

- Sue Skym as she prepares for Dave’s funeral which will be held on Monday 29th October 12.45pm at Glyntaf
- Members of our fellowship who are residents in nursing homes.
- People who are unable to join us for worship because of illness or frailty.
- All who live with disabilities and find some tasks frustrating.
- Those who are in hospital or at home recovering from operations.
- Members of our fellowship who are leading worship elsewhere.
This Week and in the Future……
Ladies Guild this week will hearing about the need for Defibrillators to be installed in public places. Do you know how many are there in Pontypridd?? Sharon Owen will be our guest and we will find out on Wednesday!
A trip is planned for the matinee performance on Saturday 3rd November at the New Theatre of ‘The Messiah’ which promises to be the funniest and most magical Nativity you will ever see.
It is a story about a travelling theatre troupe of two actors and an opera singer arrive by camel in the ancient town of Cardiff to masterfully enact the greatest story ever told. Starring Hugh Dennis, John Marquez, and Lesley Garrett, in a hilarious Christmas comedy that conjures up the sublime, the ridiculous and the truly angelic.
If you are interested in seeing ‘The Messiah’ prior to its opening in the West End, then add your name to the sign-up sheet.
On Thursday 8th November 7.30pm at the Muni the National Dance Company Wales (NDCWales) an award -winning company will be presenting work by some of the most celebrated international choreographers alongside new creations by emerging choreographic talent. Aisha Namaani will be dancing!!
Roots is an evening consisting of 3 pieces of dance The pieces are all contemporary dance but very different styles from funny and charter driven, to powerful and purely dynamic. £12.00 Adult, £9 concession, £8 group bookings
A date for 2019! A Church Weekend has been booked at Coleg Trefeca, Talgarth February 22nd to 24th 2019. The cost for the full weekend is £110 per person, for Saturday only with lunch it is £36, or with lunch and supper £45. Please put your name on the sign-up sheet if you are interested.
Don’t forget Harvest Mugs designed by members of our Junior Church to support ‘The Tent of Nation’s’ can still be ordered – They cost £10 – to order a mug add your name to the list stating which design you want.

Our friends, Dan, Sharon, Asher and Hannah will be returning to New Zealand on October 29th. In the short time that they have been here we have learnt a lot!
Following the morning service on 28th October we will have a ‘Bring and Share’ Buffet Lunch as we gather to say farewell and give them a good Welsh send off. Sign up sheets are on the back table along with a list of suggested food.
