20 November 2016
We welcome you all to our services today, especially if you are a visitor or worshiping with us for the first time. Phil is leading our service this Morning. The service will include the celebration of the Lord’s Supper and ALL, who so wish, are invited to share this with us.
We are delighted to welcome to our service this morning, June Maxwell, former Moderator of Presbytery, along with Simon Walkling, representing URC and John Henson, as the Baptist representative. They will be taking part in the service as Margaret Morris and Bethan Walkling are ordained as Elders of St David’s Uniting Church; Sonia Fletcher will be welcomed as a returning Elder and Beverley Humphreys and Viviane Lamare are serving for a second term.
This Evening our service will be led by our own Alan Hills.
Fair traded tea and coffee will be served after this morning’s service, and handmade cards will be on sale, all are welcome to join in this time of informal fellowship.
Please don’t forget to put your ‘small’ change in ‘Copper Pot’, where it will eventually benefit local charities.

Church Family and Pastoral News
Today we are celebrating the baptism of Janet Bullock (in an early morning service) and the ordination of Margaret Morris and Bethan Walkling as elders.
We are sorry to report that Loreen Davies’s husband , Ken, is in hospital, his condition is critical. Russell and Caroline are also back in hospital, both are on Ward 19 at Royal Glam.
We are pleased to say that Marilyn Young is now continuing her recovery at home. As she said the healing process will take time!
With thoughts of Phil’s pulpit swap in New Zealand in 2018 in our minds we remember the people of New Zealand who have been affected by the earthquakes.
We sadly heard on Thursday that Rev John Ll Humphreys, former URC Wales Moderator, passed away on Thursday after a short illness. Our thoughts are with his partner and mother at this time.
We hold them all these people in prayer.
