Thought for the Week
It takes a range of plants to create a masterpiece in the garden, different sizes, different colours all contributing to the whole. This is true of the church.
Church Family News
We are pleased to say that Mark’s Dads operation is went well, and he is now slowly recovering, Chris is ‘brace free’ when in the house, but will have to wait a little longer to be ‘back to normal’.
We continue to remember Hettie & Eric, David & Doreen, Jean & John, Sharon, Stephanie and Katie as they all struggle in various ways.

A message from our Interim Moderator
Dear Friends
Mr Phil Wall, a final year ministerial student at Westminster College Cambridge will be preaching with us on the morning of the 17th November. As Phil is now seeking a call to full time ministry the elders will be listening with interest to discern whether they will invite Phil to talk to them in the future about the possibility of ministry among us. Please make every effort to come to the service and please feel free to make your first impressions known to me or one of the Elders. As Phil is a URC student I will be presiding at the communion table that day.
As Phil’s visit is NOT a ‘preach with a view’ please don’t approach him directly with questions but please be your usual very welcoming selves.
Vaughan
