We especially welcome Rev James Hall who is leading this morning’s service. Church Family News
We include this in the newsheet to inform our prayers during the week. This week, along with those who have been bereaved and those in hospital, please remember to pray for those who add to the services in church: the organists, Cantorion, the readers, the flower arrangers, those who prepare and serve communion, Junior Church & Sunday Club staff, those who give a welcome at the door, and coffee makers.
Brian says ‘ Thankyou everyone for the concern shown and support I have received during the last three weeks, it is not over yet, but we are getting there, my next appointment is two weeks away’

Saturday 22nd March, URC Spring Synod
This is OUR opportunity to influence the agenda of the Synod meeting of which our church is part, by suggesting agenda items that are relevant to us. Suggestions don’t need to be major issues, or serious issues, but things which are important to us at the moment. This is a good opportunity to share good news stories of what we have been involved in. This is a day for ALL ages and will be held in Cardiff. Make a note of the date NOW, we could make it a Church Family Day!
Picturing Ponty/Llunio ein lle OUR photographic exhibition! Have YOU taken your photograph yet? Have you submitted it? The deadline is soon!
We know the dates of the exhibition (15th to 29th March). We would like to have plenty of photos from church members to give us a rounded view of the good and not so good aspects of our community.
The exhibition will be open to the public during the fortnight at selected times – there is a timetable on the table. We need at least two people overseeing the exhibition when open to the public. PLEASE help us to make this happen and sign the timetable indicating the time/times which you can help.
Photographs can be submitted using the form you have been given, extra forms are available, or you can upload them by following the instructions on the web site www.picturingponty.org.uk – if anyone needs help in doing this ask Catherine, Fiona, Ben, James or Pam.
We have received an invitation to join our friends at St Catherine’s for a Social Evening on a Friday either March 28 or April 5 to share our ‘talents There will be a charge of £2.00 per person, free for children and the proceeds would then be split between CAP and Namatala.
Minutes of meetings…Church meeting minutes are displayed on the notice board.
Saturday Coffee Bar
The Coffee Bar is an important part of our outreach. We open for just two hours on most Saturday mornings. It is run by a loyal group of volunteers who serve and / or make cakes – we would welcome ‘new’ volunteers – could YOU be a volunteer, there is a new rota on the wall in the hall – PLEASE sign up and help us!
Equipment for new kitchen
As we are looking for funding to improve the kitchen, we starting to raise extra funds for equipment by selling books, we have a good selection in excellent condition, these can be viewed during Coffee Bar or on Sunday morning.
