Something to watch during Advent

Help is required!
The season of advent is almost here and help is needed to put the card sorter in place and the board for generic Christmas greetings. Also there is a broken Church pew in the porch. (It may be possible to repair it). Does anyone want it or do you know of someone who could use it.
We need some strong people to help move these items. If you can help please let Marcia know and we will arrange a date for this week.
Original Lino Print
Margaret Morris has kindly donated an original lino print by the artist, Paul Peter Piech which she has had framed. It shows a quotation from Martin Luther King and it was felt that if displayed in the Church building it could be seen and appreciated by many people.
The November 13th issue of the ‘Observer’ has an article about last Sunday’s service. A copy is on the Notice Board.
This week’s issue may have a report about the ‘Picturing Ponty’ Project including some pictures!
The heating has been installed and is in use, we have had a few problems which are being dealt with, BUT please be aware we are still in the trial period and it will take time for us to determine the best temperature for the system. We ask you to be patient.
