Welcome, everyone, to our services today; if this is your first visit, we hope you will feel the warmth of our welcome and return again soon.
Our morning worship is being led by Fiona Liddell and our Evening Service at Church House will be led by Rev Ken Graham. The service will include the celebration of the Lord’s Supper.
Fairtrade tea and coffee will be served after this morning’s service and greetings cards will be available, please take this opportunity to enjoy some light refreshments in the company of friends.
Our ‘Copper Pot’ is on the table waiting for your ‘small change’, the money is donated to ‘local’ charities; if you have any suggestions for a worthy charity please let us know. The Chaplaincy were the latest recipients..

Wednesday 26th March Ladies Guild
We have reached the last meeting of this session! We will share a meal together at The Blueberry, Market Square. Please meet at 12.30pm for lunch at 1.00pm
Friday 28th March PCT Lenten Lunch
This week’s lunch to raise money for Christian Aid will held at St David’s Church, Hopkinstown from 12.00 – 1.30. Suggested donation £2.50. There will be a fairtrade stall.
Friday 28th March at 7pm ‘Ponty’ Talent
An evening to showcase the talent in the churches of Pontypridd! We will share an evening of entertainment and food with friends from other churches; we have our three ‘Acts’ for the evening – now we need the audience – please sign the list in the hall to give us an idea of numbers for catering. We are providing some savoury dishes and a fruit punch,
Donations will be gratefully received!
There is a charge of £2.00 per person, (free for children) the proceeds will be split between Christians against Poverty and Namatala Primary School in Mbale.
Monday 31st March Lenten Bible Study
The fourth in the series of studies using the story of ‘Les Miserables’ with help from a book produced by Anglican Priest, Rev Jonathan Meyer, and linking it to biblical passages will be held at 7.30pm
Sunday 13th April Palm Sunday
A Change of venue! A reminder that the morning service will be in Church NOT Church House.
Saturday 19th April The Glory of Easter
A celebration in music and word with Cambrensis Choir & Orchestra and the St David’s Praise Choir with special guest Katy Treharne, will take place at St David’s Hall, Cardiff at 7.30pm. more details on the Notice Board in the Hall
Saturday 21st June ‘An Outing!’
We have received an Invitation to the Celebration and Farewell Service for Howard Sharp (a former minister of Pontypridd United Church) who is retiring on 30th June. The service will be held at 2.30pm at Liverpool Hope University Chapel.
We have provisionally booked a 29 seater coach – and invite you to share our transport and have a day out in Liverpool. Add your name to the list on the notice board in the hall by March 30th
