We welcome everyone who joins us for worship today. If you are a visitor or worshipping with us for the first time you are especially welcome. We are very pleased to welcome Rev James Karran, an associate Chaplain at the University of South Wales, who is leading our service this morning. This evening Alan Hills will be leading our worship at Church House and we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper during the service, when all, who so wish, are invited to share in the bread and wine with us.
Tea and coffee will be served in the hall following the morning service, please join us for this time of informal fellowship.

Church Family News
It was announced last week that Lyn Williams had passed away on 14th February. Lyn has been a faithful member of the ‘old’ St David’s where for many years she was president of the Ladies Guild. Until poor health prevented, Lyn always supported her church in anyway she could. Her Funeral will be held in Church at 2pm on Tuesday 4th March followed by cremation at Glyntaf. We continue to hold Michael and Ruth and their families in our prayers.
We are sorry to say that after a brief time at home, Chris is back in hospital with a broken leg which will need specialist treatment; she also has a chest infection which will delay the treatment. We pray for Chris as she copes with this set back.
Thankyou! We have received a card from Olwen who has had a good report from the hospital.
Pontypridd Christians Together invites us to pray each day for one of the local churches and mission projects. This is the remainder of the list. Copies of the complete list are on the table.

We will be holding a series of Lenten Studies this year, using characters, themes, some words and music from ‘Les Miserables’ (both the book and the musical) and linking these to Bible passages, with help from a book produced by Anglican Priest, Rev Jonathan Meyer. The evening service on 2nd March will be an introduction to the series, and hand-outs will also be made available in church. If you have a copy of the musical on DVD and would be willing to put it in a shared ‘library’, please would you let Iestyn, Alan or Marcia know (the more copies we have, the better!).
