20 October 2013
We offer a warm welcome to everyone who joins us for worship today, particularly if you are a visitor, or worshipping with us for the first time.
We especially welcome our ‘guest’ ministers today, Rev Susan Stephenson and Rev Nick Bradshaw.
Susan will lead our morning service today; which will include the celebration of the Lord’s Supper and all, who so wish, are welcome to share in the bread and wine
Susan is one of the Chaplains at the University of South Wales and part of the ministerial team at Albany Road Baptist Church on Cardiff.
Nick who is the Regional Minister for the South Wales Baptist Association will be leading our evening worship.
Fairtrade coffee and tea will be served in the hall after this morning’s service and handmade cards will be on sale, all are welcome to join in this time of informal fellowship.
The Copper Pot is, on the table; so don’t take your ‘small change’ home with you, put it in the pot, where it will be used for local charities.

Church Family News
We include this in the newsheet to inform our prayers during the week. Mark’s Dads operation is scheduled for today! Hopefully Christine will have her brace removed next week, she can’t wait for that to happen: Hettie is feeling much better: Stephanie still has to visit the hospital: Gethin is on sick leave; there are others, known to us who are receiving treatment. We remember them all and those who care for them
As the University term is starting we remember those of our fellowship as they return, and also Vaughan’s daughter as she starts her first year at Oxford.
Good news! Elinor, who was diagnosed with macular degeneration some three and a half years ago has now been discharged from Moorfields eye clinic as the condition appears to be stable;
Not so good news! Mike and Helen have had their coffee shop lock glued to prevent them opening the shop
Other news! Ann & David Jones (Ben & Bethan’s grandparents) are moving to Grovers Field on Tuesday, we wish them well as they settle into their new home.
Pat and Gareth have arrived safely back in Hungary after an arduous journey. They are going to Spain for the winter months!
