15 December 2013
We offer a warm welcome to all who join us today, the third Sunday of Advent, as we prepare to celebrate the Birth of Christ and bring gifts for those in need.
This morning is an ‘Amnesty Awareness’ service and we will also celebrate the Lord’s Supper, when all are invited to share in the bread and wine with us.
We are very pleased that Rev Ray Vincent will once again be leading our evening worship. Thankyou Ray!
Before you leave, remember the Copper pot, and put your spare coppers in it. They will be put to good use by local charities.

Thought for the Week
“May this Advent season be a time for bringing hope, transformation and fulfilment into the Advent of our lives.”
A Message from Canada.
We’re remembering with great fondness our time with you all last Christmas season and offer warm greetings for a hopeful and most blessed Advent/Christmas this year, trusting that the church, at least, will be much warmer than it was last year!

Could YOU be a volunteer with Cwm Taf Health ?
Have you ever been to hospital? Were you bored – day too long? Were you lonely, worried and anxious? Too much time to think, no one to tell? Concerned about things at home, family problems, but didn’t want to bother your visitors? Needing to pray but couldn’t concentrate?
So how about you? Could you give some time to learn how to come alongside people in hospital. (More details on the notice board)
Visiting the Elderly
The Spiritual Care Department at Cwm Taf is keen to recruit volunteers to visit the elderly and help with a project called, ‘This is Me.’ This project aims to record information that is important in the lives of the elderly whose memory is not what it was. (more details on the notice board)

We want to know! Should we change anything? – Please tell us.
What would YOU like to read / see on in? It is still a new site and we would value ALL contributions, thought and ideas.
