Remembrance Sunday 10 November 2013
Welcome to everyone who joins us for worship today as the people of Britain remember those who were sacrificed for the sake of peace. If you are a visitor or worshipping with us for the first time we pray that you will find peace and fellowship with us. We pray for the members of our Peace and Justice group who have prepared and will lead this morning’s service. Our evening worship at 6pm will be led by our good friend Father Andrew Davies. We look forward to a time of fellowship with him. Fair-trade tea and coffee will be served after this morning’s service and hand-made cards, including Christmas cards will also be available. As always the Copper pot is on the table at the back of the church waiting for your coppers, which will eventually benefit local charities

Pontypridd Foodbank will be collecting between 9am and 5pm.
We need people to help for an hour or two handing out shopping lists to customers as they enter the store and collecting donations as customers leave the store. This helps us to keep our food stocks up so that we can then respond to people in need in the local area. If you are under 18 years old and would like to help then please ask Marcia for a consent form for your parent to complete. You do not need any experience; just let us know you want to help. Please get in touch by email info@pontypridd.foodbank.org.uk or text or call on 07411 965958

This month in Reform
There is an article by Clare Bryden ‘How Place Shapes Prayer’. Clare spent a year at Mucknell Abbey in Worcestershire which has been the home of an Anglican Benedictine community of monks and nuns since 2010 Mucknell has been a place to generations of farmers back beyond the Domesday Book. It is an interesting article.
