Our service this morning is being led by our Minister. and our Iona style evening service will be led by Margaret and Chris.
Fairtrade tea and coffee will be served after this morning’s service and hand -made greetings cards will be available, please stay and chat over a ‘cuppa’ and get to know each other better.
With Easter just 3 weeks away Liz will be waiting to take your orders for Fairtrade Easter Eggs or other items from the catalogue.

This Week and in the future:
The Lent Discovery Group will meet at the home of Mo Chester on Monday. This week they are looking at chapter 4 of Meg Warner’s book ‘Abraham: A Journey Through Lent’ – and all are welcome.
The Winter session of Ladies Guild is drawing to a close. This week we have Housewives Choice and finalise the arrangements for our ‘Easter Meal’ at The Heritage Park Hotel. We meet at 2pm in the Church.
PCT Christian Aid Lunch this week will be held at St David’s Church, Hopkinstown on Friday from 12.00 – 1-30 pm. Suggested donation is £2.50.
All are invited by Phil to join him on Saturday March 17th for a Craft Coffee Morning in preparation for Holy Week. on from 10am till noon. If you can spare the time, please come and bring a pair of pinking scissors to help with cutting out and also tracing simple pictures. If you can’t come and have pinking scissors please speak to Sue Walkling or Lynda
Next Sunday’s Film Afternoon. For our next film and chat date, we will be watching a drama which parallels the events of Holy Week in a modern-day setting. Contains strong language and some violence. Certificate 15.
All are welcomed and encouraged to attend a free Public Lecture by Dr Meg Warner on the Wednesday evening of Holy Week (March 28th) at 7.30pm entitled – ‘I will give you all this land’ – Justice, the Biblical Land Debate and the Current Refugee Crisis”.

Lent and the FoodBank -A Challenge: Foodbank has a 40p for 40 days challenge, and they are asking people to join them in taking small actions to transform lives by giving up 40p for 40 days. If you choose to accept the challenge Alan will accept your contributions.
