We welcome you all to our services today, especially if you are a visitor or worshipping with us for the first time. Our minister is leading our services today and we pray that, through his ministry, we may all receive the blessing that we most need.
This Evenings service at Church House will include the celebration of the Lord’s Supper
Fairtrade coffee and tea will be served in the hall after this morning’s service and all are welcome to join in this time of informal fellowship.
Please remember the copper pot and empty your purses or pockets of those unwanted ‘coppers’. They will be put to good use by local charities.

Church Family News
We remember the Walkling family as Simon’s Mum, Barbara is not very well. Caroline will hopefully return home on Monday after 3 months in hospital. We remember all who are receiving treatment or have hospital visits to face. We hold them all in our thoughts and prayers.
Congratulations! To our students who have all had good end of term reports. We wish them well in their next year.
Thanks – Stephanie and Alan wish to thank everyone for the love and concern shown to them and Julie. It is going to be a long journey but there is hope.

Belief and Action
The Justice and Peace group is working with ‘Wales for Peace’ www.walesforpeace.org and will be hosting an exhibition ‘Belief and Action’ at St David’s Uniting Church from 6th – 13th November.
Wales for Peace is exploring how, in the 100 years since the First World War, Wales has contributed to the search for peace. It is gathering stories and information, and sharing this online to make visible Wales’ strong peace heritage.
As we work towards hosting the exhibition in November we want to gather stories of people in and around Pontypridd who have made a stand for peace or have taken notable action to build peace in some way. If you can think of anyone who’s story we should hear, please have a word with Fiona or Pam.
Make a note of the exhibition dates, and especially the launch date, which will be Saturday 6th November. We shall be looking for volunteers to steward during the 8 days of the exhibition. We will be planning various events to encourage the wider community to join us in celebrating and reflecting on what peacemaking means today.
Meanwhile if you are planning to visit he National Eisteddfod in Abergavenny this year, anytime from July 31st to August 6th , why not drop in to the ‘Peace tent‘ which is shared by Cymdeithas y Cymod /Fellowship of Reconciliation, CND and Wales for Peace. An introduction to the exhibition will be there, as well, no doubt as a cup of tea!

Thought for the Week
You give but a little when you give of your possessions.
It is when you give of yourself that you truly give.
