22 February 2015
We welcome all who join us for worship today, for either our morning service, as we gather for the first Sunday in lent, or for our broadcast recording this afternoon at 4.45pm. We give a special welcome to those who are visitors and to those worshipping with us for the first time.
Our minister is leading all our worship today and we pray that, through him and with him, we, and all who will eventually hear the broadcast services, may be made aware of God’s message and challenge to us.
Fair-traded refreshments will be served in the hall following the morning service and hand-made cards will be on sale. We invite you to join us for this time of informal fellowship.
Our ‘Copper Pot’ is on the table waiting for your ‘small change’, the money is donated to ‘local’ charities; if you have any suggestions for a worthy local charity please tell Claire Davies.

Thought for Lent
‘Be on the alert for him who is above time, the Timeless, the Unseen, the One who became visible for our sakes, who was beyond touch and passion, yet who for our sakes became subject to suffering, and endured everything for us.’ – St Ignatius of Antioch, 2nd century
