God is good. Christ is risen. Love abounds.
“Oh, can’t you see what love has done? The rule has been disproved, the stone it has been moved. The grave is now a groove. All debts are removed! Oh, can’t you see what love has done?!”
This is the song that all creation sings. As we gather to worship our risen saviour, we invite you to listen to ‘Window in the skies’, reflect on the lyrics, and maybe see how many of the singers you recognize. As we’ve said, it’s the song that all creation sings…
We welcome to you all on this Day of Resurrection, especially if you are a visitor or worshipping with us for the first time. As Phil leads us, we pray that we shall all know the reality of Jesus’ presence.
During this morning’s service we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper, and ALL are invited to share in the Bread and Wine with us.
This evening at 6.00 we invite you to meet at Church House and join us on our Emmaus walk, as we take a short evening stroll before returning to Church House for a time of reflection. Those not able to walk are invited to listen to meditative music until the ‘walkers’ arrive. We will then share in communion together.
The ‘Copper Pot’, as always is waiting for your ‘small change’ to give to local charities.

The pattern for this ladies only event, which is being organised by Martine Lewis from St Catherine’s, is: refreshments as people arrive from 6.00pm, welcome will be at 6.30pm and worship will follow.
We are looking for volunteers to provide / serve the refreshments. Cakes or biscuits will be fine. ALL ladies are welcome to the evening.
Please speak to Margaret Morris if you can help.
Sunday 19th April BBC Celebration Service
The second of the services which were recorded earlier this year will be transmitted on BBC Wales at 7.30am and again at 6.30pm.
Nominations for Eldership
We have received an excellent response for nominations, with just under 20% of our membership putting in a nomination. Phil will be speaking to ALL nominees to ascertain their willingness to serve.
Now we have the start date – May 11th – we need to relocate ALL items in the kitchen (and throw some out!) A date will be set towards the end of April. Please help if you are able.
We have an excellent selection of books for sale in the hall -including autobiographies and travel books – take a look; if you see some you like just put your donation in the tin.
We will have two opportunities to listen to and question the candidates. The first hustings will be held at Salem Chapel, Tonteg at 7pm Wednesday 15th April and the second at Temple Baptist Church at 7.30pm Thursday 30th April. Labour, Plaid Cymru, Conservatives, UKIP, Lib Dems, Socialists, Green and Christian parties have all confirmed that their candidate will attend.
