We welcome you all to our services today. We especially welcome Gail Stewart with her family and friends as she has come to be baptised.
Our service this morning is being led by our minister who we are pleased to welcome back after his Pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
This evenings service at Church House will be a table discussion with communion.
Fair-trade tea and coffee will be served after this morning’s service, we invite you to enjoy a ‘cuppa and a chat’ in the company of friends. Hand- made greetings cards will also be on sale.
The Copper Pot is on the table, so – don’t take your ‘small change’ home with you, put it in the pot, where it will be used for local charities.

We are planning to collect people’s experiences of the NHS by capturing stories about home remedies that people used to cure illnesses and the stories about characters, such as midwives and family doctors who had their own particular methods or who were well known locally.
We aim to do this by interviewing people and recording these interviews on mobile phones from where they can be edited and uploaded on to a specially designated web site. If anyone is interested in participating we are offering a day’s training in the church hall on Saturday, May 19th from 9am until 5pm
The course is free and a buffet lunch is included. Speak to Pam for more details.
Spring Cleaning appeal! Many people will have noticed and admired the ‘Welcome’ & ‘Croeso’ flags in the sanctuary and at Church House, these were made by Sonia, who is appealing for anyone who, when they are ‘spring cleaning’ finds any zips, shoelaces, cottons or material that they no longer need, to give them to her. Thanks
