12 April 2015
Welcome, everyone who joins us for worship on, what is called, Low Sunday in the Christian Calendar. But we pray that we shall all continue to experience the joy of Easter as Phil leads our worship this morning.
This evening at 6pm we will focus on the work of Christian Aid when we will welcome Mari McNeill to our service. Mari is based at the Cardiff office, and looks after fundraising, volunteering and campaigning through churches and community groups in her region. She also leads the team on advocacy and joint campaigning work in Wales.
Tea and coffee will be served after this morning’s service, when the Traidcraft stall will be open. Please take time to see what is on sale, and support fair-trade.

Holy Week Services
I just wanted to say a huge thanks to all who attended, facilitated and contributed at the holy week services this year. I know it wasn’t only me who found many of the musical contributions stunning, the reflections thought-provoking, the hospitality given and received, encouraging. The services benefited from the gifts, time and commitment of a lot of people and served as a great reminder of just how blessed we are at St David’s. I’m aware that some aspects of the week were approached and appreciated in a different manner to others, and we will be reviewing the week’s observations so do please give any feedback to your elder or to me, but all in all, I think we can look back on the week with smiles on our lips and thanks in our prayers. Cheers all! Phil
Copies of the sermons and some of the reflections are available on our website and in paper format from Marcia.
