7th November 2021
As it’s the first Sunday of the month Phil is leading worship at Castle Square, and we have the pleasure of welcoming our good friend Dave Kitchen as our guest preacher. His reflection is entitled “I am who I am”
Dave is no stranger to us – he was last with us in person on 23 February 2020 and led a Zoom service for us in May this year. We look forward to a time of fellowship with him.
The service will be live-streamed and available later on YouTube. The script is also on our website.

As Covid numbers are still high it’s important that we continue to keep ourselves and others safe and well. A reminder that when joining us for services and other activities face masks must be worn (unless exempt), social distancing maintained, the one-way system followed and everyone needs to sign in. Although the heating is on the building won’t be as warm as usual because it has to be well ventilated so you might want to wear your thermals!

Coffee after the service
We are very sorry to disappoint those who were looking forward to catching up over a cuppa after the morning service this Sunday as was planned.
Because of the logistics and a shortage of volunteers, it has been decided to serve only on the 1st and 4th Sunday’s. As those who organise it are not available this weekend, the first Sunday coffee will be served will be the first Sunday of Advent (November 28).
Please feel free to support local businesses by treating someone to a cuppa after the service. If anyone is willing to join the rota, please contact Liz or Catherine.

COP 26
Please pray for COP26 as it continues this week. As the banners outside all our church buildings declare –
“In solidarity with all people and all of God’s creation, we pray that the commitments made
at COP 26 will be radical, just, and lead to the restoration of God’s beautiful world.”
Thanks to Sue Walkling for heading up the work, and to Anne, Colleen and Carol for helping with their creation and all the members who saved the bottle tops for this project.
