22nd January 2017
Welcome, everyone who joins us for worship today as we celebrate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. If you are a visitor, or worshiping with us for the first time, we pray that you and all of us will receive the blessing we most need.
This morning’s service will be led by our minister and this evening at 6pm we will unite with other PCT Churches at St Catherine’s to continue the celebrations.
Following the morning service tea and Coffee will be served in the hall and handmade cards will also be available. All are invited to share in this time of informal fellowship.
Please put your ‘small change’ in the Copper Pot before you leave. It will benefit local charities instead of wearing your pockets out.

John Henson is suffering with shingles, we remember him and all those who are unwell or are struggling with debilitating illnesses, and are unable to worship with us. We think also of those who are unable to remember us and we pray for their well-being.
On Friday 13th January Brian received a Christmas card from Australia, it had been sent via airmail on December 5th. The message was…
To all our friends at St David’s Uniting Church.
Thinking of you, taking about you often, missing the wonderful fellowship and friendship. Veronica and Philip Gardner.

Church Meeting – following worship on January 29th
Last week we celebrate the anniversary of St David’s Uniting Church. Next week we have the opportunity to celebrate and participate in the mission of this community in our church meeting – which we conduct after morning worship twice a year. Everyone – whether members or not – are welcome to attend as we discuss and decide upon issues regarding the life and work of the church. The meeting will end by 1:30pm at the very latest. Apologies – at the time of compiling the news sheet the agenda was not available!
‘Rogues Gallery’
At last it is in place, although not everyone’s photo is there, so it is a ‘work in progress’.
News sheet – a reminder!
As the news sheet is being compiled in the ‘Spanish Office’, items need to be sent to office1.sduc@gmail.com or via an elder. Little was received this week, so there is not much up to date ‘Family’ news.
This is your newssheet, if you have anything that you want to share with us then PLEASE send it.
