We welcome you all to our service today, the fourth Sunday in Advent;
Phil is leading this special family service with help from the Junior Church, our Young Adults and Cantorion. The service will include the celebration of the Lord’s Supper, when all are invited to share in the bread and wine.
If you are a visitor or worshipping with us for the first time you are especially welcome and we invite to join us for tea or coffee in the hall after the service when Christmas cards will be on sale
This evening at 6pm we will be joining in the town churches service at Temple Baptist Church when the newly formed Pontypridd Community Choir will lead the singing and Rev Dr Phil Wall will give a short reflection on Christmas.
Please remember the Copper Pot, and put your loose change in it before you leave and it will be used to benefit local charities.

Phil will be visiting his family for belated Christmas celebrations and will officially be ‘on leave’ from 26th December. During his absence the Elders will do their best to deal will any problems.

Church Family News
We think of Jan Bayliss’s Mother in hospital, and Marlene’s brother (Paul) waiting for an operation. We are pleased to say that Adrienne will be able to spend some time with her family on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. We keep them all in our prayers.
.A request from Mark in China: Please keep our friend Mal from Australia in your prayers. Those of you who were at our wedding will remember that Mal represented Maggie’s family as he walked Maggie down the aisle in Church. He has been diagnosed with lung cancer and will sadly not see Christmas…….. ….Beti’s friend Sandra in Germany is in a similar situation. Please pray for them, their families and friends as they face the next phase in life’s journey.
