12 June 2016
We welcome ALL who join us for worship today.
We especially welcome Rev Ray Vincent who is leading our worship this morning as Phil, is on study leave prior to Ministers Summer School, which he is obliged to attend.
Our evening service will be led by Alan Hills
We pray for us all a time of rich blessing, but also of challenge, as our ‘guest’ preachers lead us.
Fairtrade coffee and tea will be served after this morning’s service and all are welcome to join in this time of informal fellowship.
The Copper Pot is, as usual, on the table; so don’t take your ‘small change’ home with you, put it in the pot, where it will be used for local charities.

Church Family News
We have not received any information on those of our fellowship who are currently in hospital or receiving treatment, which can only be ‘good’ news! We are delighted to learn that David Marshman has been given the ‘All Clear’.
We remember Phil in our prayers as he embarks on a very busy summer schedule!
We pray also for our Muslim friends during the month of Ramadan especially those who are new to the area.
Dates for your Diary

Christian Aid Week 2016: an update
Our fabulous Saints & Sinners ‘Would I Lie to You’ evening raised a magnificent £420
Envelopes from street collection and those put in the offertory, amounted to £700
Dung balls raised £210, we were also given a generous donation so are able to buy 20 cans of worms.
The Dung Balls was a Kids’ Club project and they spent part of one evening emptying the dung balls and counting the money – see the photos on the notice board in the hall. They laid the money to look like worms!
Can YOU spare an hour to help people in need?
All we need are willing volunteers to give just one hour of their time on 30/06/16 and 1/07/16 to collect together and encourage shoppers at Tesco, Upper Boat to donate.
If you can spare some time please contact 074 1196 5958 or email Info@pontypridd.foodbank.org.uk
