10th February 2019
Welcome, everyone, to our service today, which is being led by our minister. If this is your first visit, we hope you will feel the warmth of our welcome and return again soon. Today, the lighting of a candle will indicate the start of our service as you are invited to be still in God’s loving presence.
February is LGBT History month and so to mark this, today, we are privileged to have Stonewall’s Gay Role Model of the year to talk about his work and faith…our own Ray Vincent!
Along with Ray, friend of the church Gail Stewart was on the BBC this week as she shared her experience of the healing power of dancing after breast cancer. The article and video can be found at www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-47000508
After the service today we have our quarterly church meeting so our time for refreshments will be shorter than usual. All are welcome to stay for the meeting so please grab a cuppa and a slice of cake quickly so we might start and so finish the meeting promptly! The agenda and the minutes of the November meeting are on the table. Please sign the attendance sheet.
There will be no evening Service.
